Introduction

If Windows 11 opens a program on a screen that is no longer plugged in or no longer exists, please follow the steps below to get the window back to the correct screen.

Instructions

  1. Hold shift, and right click the program Window in the preview that pops up above the program in the task bar.
  2. The following menu will pop up:

  1. Click Move
  2. Hold the an arrow key on your keyboard until the app shows up on your screen (usually left or right).
  3. Continue holding until you can see the full app.
