Introduction
EndNote 20 is a reference management software that helps users organize research materials, insert in-text citations, and automatically create bibliographies. UCO provides EndNote software to all UCO faculty, staff and students for free. If you would like EndNote on a computer, please follow the instructions below.
Please note: The MAC version of EndNote 20 only works on MacOS 10.15 Cataline and above.
EndNote Software Installation
Faculty, staff, and students who would like EndNote installed can follow the download instructions listed below or visit the UCO Service Desk on the first floor of the UCO Library for installation assistance.
Download EndNote
In order to download EndNote, please visit the Central Tech Store Downloads requires UCO credentials). Locate EndNote listed under UCO Free Downloads and click the download link for your computer (Mac or Windows).
Windows Installation:
- Download the .ZIP file by clicking the Windows Download link
- Extract the .ZIP file by right-clicking the file and choosing Extract All
- Locate the extracted folder and double-click on the file named "EN20Inst.msi"
- The UCO license will automatically install allowing you to use the software on your device
Mac Installation:
- Download the .DMG file by clicking the Mac Download link
- Locate the downloaded file and double-click the filename to begin the install
- The UCO license will automatically install allowing you to use the software on your device
NOTE: The Mac version of EndNote 20 only works with MacOS 10.15 Catalina and above.
