Submit Assignment to the Assignment Folder (from Laptop or Desktop Computer)

Description

Your instructor may ask you to submit an assignment online using D2L. Typically, submitting a file is done using the Assignment Folder tool. This article walks you through the process of submitting an assignment to the D2L Assignment Folder Tool for your instructor to assess.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Learn@UCO and click your course.
  2. From the top menu, click Assessments > Assignments
  3. On this page, you will see a list of available assignment folders and information about each including the number of items submitted to a assignment folder. Find the correct assignment title and click on the assignment folder name. 
  4. If available, you can see: 
    • Assignment Instructions
    • Due Dates
    • Rubric 
  5. Under the "Submit Assignment" area, click Add a file.
  6. You will see a list of locations to upload the file from. To upload a document from your flash drive or computer hard drive, click My Computer
  7. Click Upload and browse to your file.
  8. You can upload additional files by clicking Upload and repeating the upload process. When finished, click Add
  9. Comments will be visible only to your instructor. Add any comments necessary (optional) and click Submit. at the bottom of the screen. 
  10. The File Submission Successful page appears and will provide a date/time stamp as well as the file submitted. When finished, click Done
  11. On the Assignment list, your completion status will now be "Submitted". Click Submitted in its row to review your submissions. in the Submission History page.
