The Office of Financial Aid will consider special circumstances, which may affect your need, on a case-by-case basis. Reasons that may be considered for a Special Circumstances Review include loss of income due to layoff, disability, divorce, separation, or loss of untaxed benefits. If you feel you have an extreme situation that may allow for a Special Circumstances Review, submit the UCO Special Circumstances Request Form.
The UCO Special Circumstances Request Form is available on the UCO website. Please visit the Financial Aid Forms page of our website. A Financial Aid Counselor will review your form after you submit it.
Please allow 2 weeks during peak periods and 5-7 business days during non-peak periods for processing once submitted.
