Description

UCO recently implemented a Voice over IP (VoIP) Cisco phone system to integrate voice, data and video into a single, easy-to-manage service.  The default phone for Faculty/Staff is the Cisco IP Phone 8851.

Additional Tips

Voicemail to Email - When someone leaves a voicemail message, an email notification is automatically sent with the voicemail audio (.wav) file attached.

Long Distance Code - To make a long distance call, dial 9, then 1 and the area code plus the number. Callers will be prompted to enter their long distance code followed by #.

Voicemail PIN - A voicemail PIN is used to access voicemail from your phone. The default PIN is 123654. You will then be prompted to select a unique PIN as you use the service for the first time.

Phone Services PIN - A Phone Services PIN is used to login to your Personal Phone Directory. The default PIN for this is also 123654. You can change the PIN on the My Phone Website* under the General Settings tab. The UserID will be your UCO computer ID.

My Phone Website - This website will allow you to customize several features on your phone such as Personal Directory contacts, change your Phone Services PIN and set up speed dials. To access the website go to https://myphone.uco.edu, login using your UCO computer username and password.

Directories - There are two directories on your phone. The UCO Directory contains numbers for all personnel on campus. The Personal Directory will be contacts created and only accessible by you.
