Create an Account for Departmental Purchases at the Online Central Tech Store

Description

The online Central Tech Store is the virtual location for placing technology device and accessory orders at UCO. Individuals can purchase personal devices, accessories, equipment and more from a variety of vendors like Microsoft, Apple, Dell and more. Departments will also have the ability to make purchases at the online Tech Store for departmental purposes using their cards. In order for the Central Tech Store (CTS) to identify an individual as an approved pcard holder, and thereby qualifying for the tax-exempt purchasing options, the Department Purchaser first needs to create an account at the CTS online and have that account validated by the CTS staff.

Follow the steps below to create your online Central Tech Store account.

Instructions

1. Visit the online Central Tech Store at techstore.uco.edu. 
2. Click the My Account/Register option in the top right corner. 
3. Click the Create an Account button. 
   
4. Complete the "Account Information" portion of the form using your name and UCO contact information. 
5. Select Business from the "Customer Type" dropdown menu. 
   
6. Use your pcard information for the "Billing Address" section. 
7. For the "Company Information" section, your department name will be the "Company Name" and leave CoC and Tax Number fields blank. 
   
8. Create your own unique password following the UCO Password Guidelines, accept the Terms & Conditions, then click Register. 
   
9. After completing your registration, please reach out to the Central Tech Store by phone at (405) 974-3680 to request an "account validation". 
10. Once your account has been validated, you will be able to complete pcard technology purchases in the Institution section of the Central Tech Store website. 

Notes

• You must use a validated business account at the Central Tech Store to purchase technology equipment at the institution price.
• All technology hardware and accessories listed in the institution category are automatically tax-exempt which can be verified during the online checkout process.
