Introduction
This article describes the steps to update your alternate email address for your UCO account. You must have an alternate email address set before using the Self-Service Password Change Utility at reset.uco.edu. After a password has expired, it must first be reset to gain access to UCO networked services. You can reset your forgotten or expired password using the Self-Service Password Change Utility at reset.uco.edu.
You must have access to a pre-registered alternate email address associated with your UCO Account before using the Self Service Password Change Utility.
Reset Your Password
How do I change my alternate email address?
Alternate emails may be changed in UCONNECT in the Additional Contact Info card by selecting the "Central Alerts" link. Click "Edit" next to the alternate email, and put in your alternate email twice to confirm the change.
Online

In UCONNECT, locate the Additional Contact Info card, click the Central Alert: Keep your emergency information up-to-date link
Click Edit next to your Alternate Email to change it and click Save

In Person
|
If you have a UCO ID card or a government-issued photo ID with you, you can make in-person requests at the Broncho One Stop, located on the first floor (south side) of the Nigh University Center. |
Email

Users may request a change to their registered non-UCO email address by sending the request to registrar@uco.edu and include:
- Photo ID
- Former email address that you no longer have access to
- Current email address you would like to use
- Signature

What should I do if I can't access my alternate email address?
UCO information security protocol requires an alternative email address to send the link to reset your password. In-person requests must be made by the student and require a UCO ID card or government-issued photo ID. Visit Broncho OneStop on the first floor (south side) of the Nigh University Center for in-person requests.
Email requests may be sent to registrar@uco.edu with your:
- Signature
- Photo ID
- Former email address that you no longer have access to
- Current email address you would like to use
