Connect Your Android Device to the UCO_SECURE Wireless Network

Description 

The University of Central Oklahoma is proud to offer high-speed wireless internet access to our students, faculty, staff, and guests. Follow the steps below to get connected the UCO_SECURE network with your Android device. Guests can find information about connecting to the UCO network following the steps on our Guest WiFi Account Access page. Please contact the Service Desk if you have any questions or need to report any issues. 

Instructions for Android 

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access Apps.
  2. Tap Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi, and then tap On/Off to turn on Wi-Fi.
    • When Wi-Fi is turned on, your device automatically scans for available networks and displays them.
  3. Tap the network you want to connect to.
    • UCO_SECURE

  1. Enter your UCO username and password, then tap Connect.  If you are unsure of your password, you may use the Self Service Password Change utility to reset your password.

  1. After you join the network, you'll see Connected just below UCO_SECURE.
