Oklahoma Statutes, Title 70, section 3244, requires that all newly admitted full-time or part-time students in an Oklahoma public or private postsecondary institution provide documentation of vaccinations for Hepatitis B (Hep-B) and Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR). UCO requires three doses of Hep-B and two doses of MMR for all students. A negative Tuberculosis (TB) test is also required for newly admitted international students.
Eligibility for any automatic exemptions is determined during the admissions review process by the JCGS. Students can also submit a Certification of Exemption form for any medical, religious, or personal reasons for opting out of the MMR and Hep-B vaccines.
