The University of Central Oklahoma (UCO) offers a variety of on-campus housing options designed to enhance the student experience. Living on campus provides students with the opportunity to be closer to classes, campus activities, and diverse dining options, fostering a supportive and engaging community.

  • Housing Options: UCO provides several residence halls, each with unique features to cater to different student needs:

    • West Hall: Known for its active community and housing several Living Learning Communities and the International House. Students in this hall often report high GPAs.
    • Murdaugh Hall: The oldest active residence hall at UCO, offering a coed living environment with high engagement rates.
    • The Quad: The newest residence hall, equipped with amenities to enhance the living and learning experience.
    • University Suites: Popular for its blend of community and privacy, featuring late-night dining options.
    • University Commons: The only apartment-style living option, offering fully furnished rooms, equipped kitchens, and laundry rooms for complete independence.

  • Living Learning Communities: These communities provide students with the chance to live with peers who share similar academic or personal interests, creating a supportive environment for academic and personal growth.

  • Application Process: UCO does not have a live-on-campus requirement and accepts applications on a first-come, first-served basis. Students are encouraged to apply early to secure their preferred housing.

  • Safety and Support: The residence halls are led by trained staff members and equipped with the latest safety technology, providing peace of mind for both students and parents.
