What are the English language proficiency requirements?

Students who do not speak English as a first language are asked to submit proof of English proficiency in one of the following ways:

  1. Minimum overall score on an English Proficiency test - TOEFL: 79, Paper TOEFL: 550, IELTS: 6.5, PTE Academic: 53, iTEP Academic Plus: 4.0;
  2. Obtain a bachelor degree or graduate degree at an accredited institution in a country where English is the primary teaching language.;
  3. Attend an appropriately accredited US college or university for a minimum of three full-time semester of satisfactory graduate work.;
  4. Attend an Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education (OSRHE) approved English Language School completing 12 weeks and obtain a specific score on one of the accepted English proficiency exams.
