The Qualtrics Survey Suite is a powerful research tool available to all University of Central Oklahoma students, faculty and staff. Hosted at Qualtrics.com, UCO's site-license provides the university community access to a wide range of Qualtrics tools. It doesn’t matter whether your project is ongoing or one-off, market or academic—all insights regarding your survey, are easy to gather with Qualtrics. Qualtrics at UCO utilizes the UCO Central Authentication Service (CAS). By using CAS, you will be able to access Qualtrics with your UCO Username and Password for enhanced security.

Screen-Outs
What happens when a respondent doesn’t meet your qualifications for completing the survey? By default, all responses that are submitted, regardless of which questions are answered, are saved and considered “Complete”. In addition to the default behavior, there are three alternative methods to handle screened out respondents. Visit the Qualtrics support page for additional information on Screen-Out Management.
Offline App
Qualtrics Offline Surveys is a new application available for iOS and Android that allows you to administer surveys on your mobile device without an Internet connection. Responses can be collected in the field on your mobile device and then uploaded back into Qualtrics as soon as you have an Internet connection.
Important information regarding the Offline App:
- Use of the Offline App is at your own risk. Lost data cannot be recovered by the Office of Information Technology. Users will need to work directly with Qualtrics support for assistance with this feature.
- Individuals using this tool will need to ensure that the devices on which the app is installed are using at least a 6-digit pin to keep their device locked at all times.
- Users need to keep in mind the UCO Data Classification guide in using the Offline App.
- If a device with stored Qualtrics survey data is lost, notify the Office of Information Technology immediately by calling 405.974.2255.
- If individuals are using a personal device and eventually decide to sell or pass on the device, be sure to wipe all Qualtrics survey data from the device itself.
Training
Training for Qualtrics is available from the Technology Resource Center or individuals can contact Qualtrics support directly and get detailed training and assistance.
