Connect Your Google Chromebook or Phone to the UCO_SECURE Wireless Network

Description 

The University of Central Oklahoma is proud to offer high-speed wireless internet access to our students, faculty, staff, and guests. Follow the steps below to get connected the UCO_Secure network with your Google device. Guests can find information about connecting to the UCO network following the steps on our Guest WiFi Account Access page. Please contact the Service Desk if you have any questions or need to report any issues. 

Instructions for Chromebook and Google Phone

1. Click  in the menu bar.  If Wi-Fi is off, toggle the button to Turn Wi-Fi On.
2. Choose the UCO_SECURE network
   
3. Change the Security Certificate Type or EAP Method from the default ‘LEAP’ to 'PEAP'
4. Set the EAP Phase 2 authentication to 'MSCHAPv2'
5. Set the Server CA certificate to 'Do not check'.
   
6. Enter your UCO username and password, then click Connect.  If you are unsure of your password, you may use the Self Service Password Change utility to reset your password.
   
7. After you join the network, you'll see Connected next to the network when you click  in the menu bar.
