Email Blast Request

Service Overview 

The offices of University Communications and Information Technology partner to offer email blast – or mass email – services to campus clients for university-related information, events, programs and initiatives, using the university’s authorized mass email platform, Emma. An email blast can be sent to current UCO faculty, staff and students. An email blast may be sent to select external email addresses if the recipients have opted in to receive messages from the university.

All requests must follow the UCO Email Blast Policy (https://uco.teamdynamix.com/TDClient/KB/ArticleDet?ID=39751 ).

Note that requests should be made at least five (5) days before the desired distribution date. All email blasts are subject to review, editing and rescheduling. Email blasts are scheduled before 8 a.m. and after 5 p.m.

To initiate an email blast, please follow the process outlined by your division, college or department representative using the contact links below. Email blasts must have the approval of the area Vice President, Dean or their designee(s). Use this form to request email blasts for if you do not have an area representative.

Features

Email blasts can feature photos, video and other media that meets web accessibility standards. You message will be presented in a UCO-branded template. The Emma mass email platform also provides analytics that show the open rate for messages, along with other statistics, to help you better plan for your next message. Please indicate if you would like to receive the analytics in your email blast request.

Please note: Neither email blasts nor Centralities may be used for the promotion of outside or personal sales, fundraising or marketing efforts. Fundraisers for official UCO student, faculty and staff organizations are permitted.
