Digital Signage Request

Service Overview

Across the university, many buildings offer digital signage options to promote university-related information, events, programs and initiatives, for faculty, staff and students.

Note that requests should be made as soon as possible. All digital postings are subject to review, which grants the building representative final say in regards the whether the item is posted.

To initiate a digital building signage request, click the “Request Assistance” button to the right. Upon completion of the form, you request will be routed through all available Digital Signage Content Managers.

More Information

Currently, there are 231 monitors connected to the Digital Signage service. The dimensions are 1920 by 1080 and can publish, PowerPoint, JPG, PNG and PDF files.  

While all of the buildings are connected to the Campus Wide Digital Signage System. Many have dedicated content managers. We are in the process of streamlining our content distribution methods. For now requests will be published in the following locations via this ticket, with more locations coming online soon. This covers over 100 of the connected displays.

History

The University of Central Oklahoma has adopted Samsung Magic Info as the official Digital Signage Standard across campus.

Colleges/Departments interested in adopting digital signage will need to assign a content manager (uploader) and work with OIT teams to determine hardware and software needs and funding required.
