Organizational Accounts

Organizational Accounts: Your Guide to Access and Control

Whether you're a faculty member leading research, a student organization planning an event, or a staff member spearheading a new initiative, organizational accounts are your key to unlocking resources and collaboration.

What are Organizational Accounts?

Think of organizational accounts as digital keys that grant access to specific UCO resources and services. These accounts allow groups and departments to:

  • Manage membership and roles: Define who belongs to your organization and assign specific permissions based on their role (e.g., administrator, member, guest).
  • Control resources: Grant access to shared files, folders, calendars, and other essential tools.
  • Streamline communication: Facilitate collaboration and information sharing within your group through dedicated communication channels.
  • Maintain accountability: Track activity and ensure responsible use of resources.

Who needs an organizational account?

Anyone leading or participating in a recognized UCO group or department can benefit from an organizational account. This includes:

  • Academic departments and programs
  • Student organizations and clubs
  • Faculty research groups
  • Administrative units and offices
  • University-affiliated organizations

Benefits of using organizational accounts:

  • Improved efficiency: Streamline communication, collaboration, and resource management.
  • Enhanced security: Control access and maintain accountability for sensitive information.
  • Clear structure: Define roles and responsibilities within your group.
  • Centralized platform: Access all your group's resources and information from one place.
  • Professional image: Project a professional and organized identity for your group.
