Service Overview
Centralities is a newsletter distributed to UCO Faculty, Staff and Students. Centralities for Faculty and Staff runs Monday through Friday when the campus is open. Centralities for Students run on Tuesdays and Thursdays when classes are in session.

Guidelines
- Centralities and mass emails may not be used concurrently to release the same information to the campus community.
- Submission does not guarantee it will be published the following day. Nor does requesting a specific run date guarantee inclusion on said date.
- Entries will be included only once. Entries may be included again if there is new information or updates.
- All content must provide an inclusive experience through various media channels.
- University Communications reserves the right to edit all entries to align with our writing style/tone, brevity, AP Style and grammar and to create consistency across university platforms.
- Links to external or non-standard software/websites will not be included without approval. Standard-approved links include UCO websites (uco.edu) and applications (Qualtrics, Handshake, UCORE). Links to other online forms, registrations, etc., will require a copy of your Software Approval with Centralities submissions.
Deadlines
Centralities submission deadlines will be:
- For Monday’s issue: 1 p.m., Wednesday
- For Tuesday’s issue: 1 p.m., Thursday
- For Wednesday’s issue: 1 p.m., Friday
- For Thursday’s issue: 1 p.m., Monday
- For Friday’s issue: 1 p.m., Tuesday
Exceptions may be made for items that necessitate a shorter deadline, such as outcomes for athletics events and other competitions, last-minute changes to events and breaking campus news. Decisions on including these items are at the discretion of University Communications. We encourage planning ahead! Submissions can be made days/weeks in advance of the deadline for the requested issue.
