University Communications offers professional graphic design services to support the visual communication needs of the UCO community. Our services include, but are not limited to:
- Brochures and booklets
- Posters and flyers
- Postcards and mailers
- Promotional item artwork
- Signage and banners
- Social media graphics
- Digital screen designs
- Official UCO department/office logo creation
- Printing consultation and coordination
If your project also requires photography, copywriting, or video services, please submit separate requests through the appropriate service area in University Communications. We work collaboratively to bring your vision to life while maintaining brand consistency and visual excellence

Guidelines
To ensure an efficient and successful design process, all project components must be submitted at the time of the request. This includes finalized copy, approved photos, logos, and any relevant design inspiration. Please ensure these elements are in final form to minimize proofing rounds and reduce turnaround time.
Significant changes after the initial submission—such as new copy, different images or layout revisions—may cause delays, as our team balances multiple projects with varying deadlines across campus.
Deadlines
To receive your materials by your desired deadline, please submit your complete request at least four weeks in advance of your in-hand date. This allows adequate time for design, revisions, approvals and—if applicable—coordination with external printers or other vendors. As this office works on projects for the entire university, the timeline is to make sure that your project gets the attention it deserves and doesn’t get rushed. Additional time may be needed depending on if other factors are involved, such as photography, copywriting, printing by an outside vendor.
While we will do our best to accommodate urgent needs, rush requests are subject to approval and availability at the discretion of University Communications.

Service Fees or Additional Costs
There is no charge for graphic design services provided by University Communications. However, any external production costs (e.g., printing, promotional item orders, vendor services) are the responsibility of the requesting department.
