Service Overview
University Communications produces high-quality promotional videos that support the University of Central Oklahoma’s strategic marketing, recruitment and engagement goals. Video services include concept development, scripting, filming, editing and post-production for a variety of formats such as:
- Departmental and program highlights
- Student and faculty features
- Recruitment and admissions content
- Social media promotional clips
- Event coverage (select events only)
- Campaign or initiative spotlights

Key Details
To begin a video project, submit a request outlining your goals, intended audience, distribution channels (e.g., web, social media, email), and your target delivery date. Please note that video projects require substantial lead time and collaboration.
We prioritize projects that align with institutional priorities and have broad impact or strategic value. While not all requests will result in a full video production, we may recommend alternative solutions such as short-form social clips or repurposing existing assets.
Please allow 6–8 weeks from project kickoff to final delivery, depending on the complexity and scheduling needs.
Available To
Promotional video services are available to UCO faculty and staff. Student organizations may submit requests through a sponsoring department. All requests are subject to review and approval based on scope, timing and alignment with university messaging priorities.
Service Fees or Additional Costs
Video production services are paid services. An estimate of cost will be provided by University Communications at the onset of the project. Requests will be evaluated based on availability, scope and alignment with the university’s strategic marketing efforts. Costs related to external vendors, actors, music licensing or special equipment—if needed—may be the responsibility of the requesting unit.
