Updating a Forgotten or Expired Password

Description

UCO passwords expire after 180 days and must be reset to gain access to UCO networked services. You can reset your forgotten or expired password using the Self-Service Password Change Utility at reset.uco.edu. Please note that users must have access to a pre-registered non-UCO email address (Alternate Email Address) to use this online password tool.

Reset Your Password

What should I do if I can't access my alternate email address?

UCO information security protocol requires an alternative email address to send the link to reset your password.

How do I change my alternate email address?

Online

STUDENTS: In UCONNECT, in the Additional Contact Info card, click the Central Alert: Keep your emergency information up-to-date link and edit your alternate email address.

FACULTY/STAFF: In Paycom Self-Service, open the Information > Address and Contact Information section and edit your personal email address

In Person

If you have a UCO ID card or a government-issued photo ID with you, you can make in-person requests at the Broncho One Stop, located on the first floor (south side) of the Nigh University Center.

Email

Users may request a change to their registered non-UCO email address by sending the request to registrar@uco.edu and include:

  • Photo ID
  • Former email address that you no longer have access to
  • Current email address you would like to use
  • Signature
