What is this service?

This service allows you to request, modify, or remove permissions for essential tools, files, applications, and systems you need for your academic or professional tasks at UCO.

D2L access for faculty members will be automatically granted once your department lists you as the Instructor in Banner.

Banner access has a separate process to track mandated training requirements, ensuring compliance and proficiency. To request Banner access, please complete the Banner Access Request Form and attach this document to the Employee Security Access Form request ticket.

What is covered?

  • Access to UCO applications and systems directly related to your job role or studies.
  • Modification of existing access permissions upon role changes or new requirements.
  • Removal of access when authorization is no longer needed.

What is not covered?

  • D2L access for faculty (automatically granted if listed as Instructor in Banner).
  • Banner access must be additionally requested with the use of the Banner Access Request Form (separate request form for mandated training compliance).
  • Personal user accounts on non-university resources.

How to request the service:

  1. Online: Open a ticket through this self-service portal for prompt assistance 
  2. Phone: Call the UCO Service Help Desk at 405-974-2255 and speak directly to a technician.
  3. Chat: Click Here to chat with a technician. 
  4. Walk-in: For in-person troubleshooting and advice, visit the IT Support Center on the first floor of the Chambers Library or the Tech Express in the Nigh University Center.

What happens next?

  • Automated processes grant access upon approval and remove permissions when no longer needed.
  • You'll receive notifications regarding the status of your request and any further steps if required.
  • A robust audit trail tracks all access changes, ensuring transparency and regulation compliance.
