Submit Assignment (from mobile browser)


Your instructor may ask you to submit an assignment online using D2L. Typically, submitting a file is done using the Assignments tool under the Assessments tab. This article walks you through the process of submitting an assignment to the D2L Assignment Tool for your instructor to assess.

These instructions use screenshots based on submission using a mobile browser such as a smartphone or tablet. 


  1. Log in to Learn@UCO and access your course.
  2. Click Assessments > Assignments
  3. On this page, you will see a list of available assignment folders and information about each including the number of items submitted to a assignment folder. Find the correct assignment title and click on the assignment folder name. 
  4. If available, you can see: 
    • Assignment Instructions
    • Due Dates
    • Rubric 
  5. Under the "Submit Assignment" area, click Add a file.
  6. Select the location to upload the file from. To upload a document from your flash drive or computer hard drive, click My Computer
  7. Click Upload and locate your file.
  8. To upload a file from a cloud storage location, click Browse
  9. Locate and tap on your file to upload. 
  10. You can upload additional files by clicking Upload and repeating the upload process. When finished, click Add
  11. Comments will be visible only to your instructor. Add any comments necessary (optional) and click Submit
  12. The File Submission Successful page will provide a date/time stamp as well as the file submitted. When finished, click Done
  13. On the Assignment list, your completion status will now be "Submitted". Click Submitted to review your submissions.
