UCO Technology Support recommends that all students have a computer with a webcam (preferably a laptop) that meets or exceeds the recommended specifications below. These recommendations will allow you to participate in any course delivery method currently offered by the university and are important for online courses whether delivered completely or partially online. Any additional program/course-specific hardware or software requirements are listed in course syllabi.

Internet Requirements:
Students that need to connect to UCO academic resources from off-campus should purchase their own dedicated home high-speed Internet service at a minimal speed of 5.0 Mbps upload and 5.0 Mbps download for viewing lecture captures, simultaneous screen sharing, and video/audio conferencing.
Test your connectivity level:
To test the connectivity level where you will be studying, taking exams, etc., try these services:
