Learn@UCO: Check Settings for Lockdown Browser or Turnitin.com

Description

Any time you copy course content from one section to another, it is recommended that you take a few minutes to verify the settings for any quizzes/exams using the Respondus LockDown Browser or any assignment folders using Turnitin.com. Sometimes these settings may need to be updated before these features are enabled in a new course. This article provides instructions for accessing these settings and making modifications.

Instructions

Respondus LockDown Browser in Quizzes

1. Login to D2L and access your course. 
2. Go to the Quizzes tool, located in the Activities dropdown menu. 
   
3. Click on the LockDown Browser tab
4. Click the dropdown icon next to the appropriate Quiz/Exam and select Settings.
   
5. Verify the settings then click Save + Close. 
6. Look for any notifications at the top of the page for any additional settings/adjustments that need attention.
   

Turnitin.com in Assignments

1. Login to D2L and access your course. 
2. Go to the Assignments tool, located in the Activities dropdown menu.
   
3. Click on the dropdown icon for the Assignment folder using the Turnitin integration and select Edit Assignment.
   
4. Open the Evaluation & Feedback area and click Manage Turnitin. 
   
5. Verify the Turnitin settings and click Save.
